Merch Alerts

Have an alert pop up on your stream whenever someone buys something from your shop while you're live. Customers even have the ability to remain anonymous if they so choose.

How to set it up:

Navigate to your merch dashboard and click on the Marketing tab.

Scroll down to the Merch Alert section

Generate a link you can use in OBS as a browser source.

Merch Goals

Set a goal for merch sales that you can display live on your stream! Every time someone purchases from your shop, the goal updates in real time.

How to set it up:

On the StreamElements dashboard, go to Streaming Tools.

Create a new overlay or choose one you are currently using for your stream.

Add a widget and under Engagement, choose Merchandise Goals.

From there, customize all your settings and, when you’re ready generate, save your new overlay and generate an overlay url in the upper righthand corner of the screen.

Commands

Are people always asking what the link to your merch store is? Set up a command to answer their question easily!

How to set it up:

On the StreamElements dashboard, go to Chat Bot and click Chat Commands.

Click the Custom Commands tab
-
Click the Add New Command button
-
In the pop up, name your command (we recommend !merch) and set the commands user level (who can type this command in chat)

In the response box, type in what you want the command to say. (Don’t forget to include your merch shop link!)

Click Activate Command button

Chat Timers
-
Remind your community about your merch store by having a message pop up periodically in chat.

How to set it up:

On the StreamElements dashboard, go to Chat Bot and click Timers

Click the Add New Timer button

Name the timer
-
Enter your message (Don’t forget to include a link to your merch shop!)

Enter your interval times (how often you want the message to pop up in chat)

Click Activate Timer

Merch Panels
-
Use your About section to direct people to your merch shop with a panel!

How to generate:

Navigate to your merch dashboard and click on the Marketing tab.

Scroll down to the Merch Panels section

Choose your favorite panel and color option

Save the image to your computer
