  1. How are dynamic descriptions used for sponsorships?

    1. Dynamic Descriptions are live, real-time updating descriptions on your YouTube video. Your sponsored video will include a dynamic progress bar to celebrate and count up conversions! This allows you to track the performance of the campaign and connect with viewers in a more meaningful way.

  2. Can I remove the Mercury OAuth during a sponsorship?

    1. You can remove access and delete your account at any time. If you wish to remove access, you will automatically cancel the campaign and it will disable Sponsorship dashboard access. 

  3. I updated my video description inside of YT Studio and my Mercury Dynamic Description is gone. What do I do?

    1. If you have any changes to your description after adding the Dynamic Description, you must use Mercury’s “Video” section to edit the description. Changes in YT Studio will override the Mercury description.

    2. If this happens: go back into your Mercury Sponsorships page and re-add your Dynamic Description!
