Step 1: Set-up an account and campaign
Before we get started on setting up the integration, you need to create a DonorDrive account and either start or join a DonorDrive campaign. To sign up, choose a charity to fundraise for on http://donordrive.com/charity-streaming/ and register.
To launch a campaign, you will receive a fundraising page link as well as a link for your on-screen donation progress overlay after you register.
Step 2: Connecting your campaign to StreamElements
To set up your Alerts and Donation goal widget you need to connect your campaign to StreamElements using the following steps (you can also use this URL as a shortcut):
Click on your Channel in the profile menu
Then click on “Channel Settings”
Look for the “Integrations” tab in the middle menu
Hit the Connect button to enter your DonorDrive campaign information.
Here you’ll browse (or type to search) for the charity you’re raising money for
Enter your participant ID (found in your DonorDrive dashboard). Don’t worry, if you get it wrong, it’s easy to come back here to update it
Now that you’ve connected your DonorDrive campaign to your StreamElements account, it’s time to configure your Alerts to thank your donors in stream, and show your progress toward the fundraising goal.
