How to Get Started with Fourthwall

How to create your Fourthwall Store:

• Visit the “Merch” Tab in StreamElements:
• Claim your Fourthwall shop:
  • Click the claim button, which will redirect you to a special Fourthwall landing page where you can create a Fourthwall Account
    
• Grant StreamElements OAuth access to connect both platforms

Important Note

There is no automatic migration or export of existing products from your StreamElements merch store to Fourthwall. You'll need to create your Fourthwall store from scratch. This gives you the opportunity to refresh and redesign your product offerings to better engage your audience.

If you need to get your assets from your SE.Merch store, follow this steps:

1. After connecting your Fourthwall Merch Store, go to your Merch dashboard in StreamElements.
2. Once there click on Assets Gallery on the top left corner.
3. From this Gallery, click on each image to download them to your PC.
   
   
   
   

Steps to set up Merch Gifting widget:

The streamer MUST be live on Twitch in order to use the Twitch Gifting feature, first the Twitch streamer must connect StreamElements to their Fourthwall merch store by following the below steps:

1. User goes here: https://streamelements.com/dashboard/merch
2. Connects their Fourthwall store to StreamElements
3. User selects 'Authorize' to allow StreamElements to connect to their Fourthwall merch store
4. The user's StreamElements merch page will reload automatically showing that it has been connected to Fourthwall
5. On the StreamElements merch page, users will be able to view all of their Fourthwall merch purchase events
6. User then needs to connect the Twitch Gifting Fourthwall App to the StreamElements chatbot by going to their Fourthwall dashboard --> App Store --> Twitch Gifting --> Connect SE Chatbot --> Save
7. User then needs to select 'Allow products to be gifted while I'm live on Twitch' --> Save

Once the SE Merch Gifting Widget is added to the streamer's OBS, they will need to do the below:

1. [While Live on Twitch] User will go to their Fourthwall merch store and select the item they want to use in the Twitch merch giveaway
2. User clicks on the 'GIFT TO TWITCH CHAT' section of the merch item they want to giveaway
3. User inputs email of the sender, their zip code, and the message that will show in the Twitch chat for the winner
4. User selects 'PURCHASE GIFT FOR CHAT and that prompts the SE Merch Giveaway widget to start the giveaway in the Twitch chat
5. The Merch Giveaway message then drops in chat for the viewers to join the giveaway
6. Viewers then input the message 'JOIN' to enter the giveaway
7. The giveaway widget shows the countdown timer on stream until a winner is selected

How to redeem the merch giveaway:

1. Once the winners of the merch giveaway are determined, a message will pop in chat highlighting the winners of the giveaway, while also providing a link to redeem the merch giveaway
2. The winner(s) click on the link provided in chat
3. They are taken to a page asking them to verify their Twitch channel
4. Once Twitch channel is identified, the winner will need to input their shipment details to redeem their gift

• Q: Do I need to use Fourthwall?
  A: You are not required to use Fourthwall to set up your shop but it’s the only e-commerce platform with a direct integration with StreamElements. 
• Q: I already have a Fourthwall site - what do I need to do?
  A: If you already have an account, you are ahead of the game! All you need to do is ensure the StreamElements app is integrated with your Fourthwall shop, and you are good to go! 
• Q: Is Fourthwall free to use?
  A: Yes! Fourthwall is free to use - no monthly fees, no upfront costs, and no contracts. You can learn more on Fourthwall’s pricing page. 
• Q: Will my Fourthwall site integrate with StreamElements?
  A: Absolutely! Fourthwall offers a StreamElements app for full and seamless integration. By connecting StreamElements through the Fourthwall app you will get access to custom merch purchase alerts, Twitch merch gifting, merch purchase notifications in your Activity Feed, a nifty Merch Rotator Widget for showing off your latest items, and more! • Q: Do I need to update my current merch alerts?
  A: Yes, after integrating your Fourthwall shop with StreamElements, review your merch alerts to ensure the settings have transferred correctly. You'll also need to set up new alerts for Twitch gifting, giveaways, and more. 
• Q: Can I still use Fourthwall if I don’t use StreamElements?
  A: Yes, you can use Fourthwall without StreamElements. However, due to our partnership with Fourthwall, we recommend using our tools and services for the most seamless integration. Plus, all our tools are fully customizable and 100% free to help you sell more merch!
