Streamelements doubling command messages

I have a command !quote that randomly puts quotes out, but for whatever reason the bot will put out 2 messages. The first being the random quote itself and the 2nd saying, “Quotes must be enabled and at least one quote must be added for this feature to work.” I don't know how to get rid of the second one.
