SE plugin for OBS on MAC

I am trying to install the plugin for OBS on a MAC.  It is the Apple M1 Chip.  I have upgraded OBS to latest, upgraded OS to latest and when I attempt to install the plugin, I get OBS Studio not found.   When I tried it on another MAC with the intel chip, it installed perfectly… any hints?   Thanks,  Hugh  whughwhite@gmail.com
