Razer is acquiring the assets of StreamElements to strengthen support for creators, streamers, and the wider gaming community. The goal is to preserve the tools creators rely on daily, improve long-term platform stability, and connect creators to a broader ecosystem of hardware, software, rewards, affiliate opportunities, and sponsorship programs.
Q: Will StreamElements shut down?
No. StreamElements will continue to operate as a standalone platform under a Razer subsidiary. The brand, the team, the product, and the mission are staying the same. StreamElements is StreamElements.
Q: Will Razer absorb StreamElements into its own software?
No. StreamElements will continue to operate independently under Razer.

Q: Will my overlays, alerts, chatbot, tipping, and streaming tools keep working?
Yes. All core creator tools including overlays, on-stream alerts, chatbot, tipping pages, SE.Live, and sponsorships will continue without interruption.

Yes. All integrations with OBS, Streamlabs OBS, XSplit, and other third-party streaming tools continue to work exactly as before.

Q: Do I need to accept a new Privacy Policy?
Yes. As part of the acquisition, StreamElements' Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect the new ownership structure with effect from August 1, 2026. Please accept it to ensure continued access to SE LiveTools without interruption.

No migration is required at this time. Your existing StreamElements account, settings, overlays, and history remain exactly as they are.
