Empower your moderators to help manage your stream by granting them access to your Dashboard. StreamElements offers three access levels you can assign:
- Bot Supervisor – manage chatbot settings and moderation tools
- Editor – manage overlays, alerts, and most Dashboard features
- Full Control – complete access to your Dashboard, equivalent to the channel owner
Follow the steps below to set up permissions for any of these roles.
Accessing Mod Permissions
- Click on your user profile in the top right corner of the Creator Dashboard.

- Scroll down to the "My Managers" section of your profile.

Alternatively, go directly to your channel access settings to set Mod permissions and grant Dashboard access.
Selecting an Access Level and Generating an Invite
- Select the circle next to the access level you wish to grant (Bot Supervisor, Editor, or Full Control).
- Click "Generate Invite Link."

- Share the link with the intended moderator.
- Once they click the link, they can select your channel from the top left of the site to start moderating.
Important Notes:
- The invite link expires automatically after 72 hours if unused.
- Each invite link can only be redeemed once, for security reasons.
Permission Levels Explained
Each access level unlocks a different set of Dashboard capabilities:
- Bot Supervisor – chatbot configuration, moderation commands, and chat management tools.
- Editor – the above, plus overlays, alerts, widgets, and most other Dashboard sections.
- Full Control – the above, plus account and channel settings, equivalent to owner-level access.
See the breakdown below for the full list of permissions available at each level.
