You can use this section of the tipping settings to apply a message filter to your donation messages.
The filter action provides us with several options (if enabled):
As seen above, either the alert is disabled altogether or the message is hidden. You can alternatively replace bad words with happy words, emotes or stars!
Below the filter action, Standard Profanity Protection includes common curse words and slurs and Custom Profanity Protection allows you to add words to the filter. This would also be a way to block a certain viewer from triggering alerts if the messages they send are offensive (or for any reason that might justify that).
Wildcards are supported when adding custom filtered words.
The TTS Anti Spam system removes messages that might spam TTS with repeating words or letters.
By enabling Manual Tip Approval, the tips you receive will NOT generate an alert automatically. Instead, tips will show up on your Activity Feed where you will have to manually approve or deny them. Approving will show an alert with all the information, and denying will mask the name and remove the message. Your channel managers with access of 'Editor' and 'Full Control' will also be able to approve or deny them.
Note: Tip moderation does not interfere with the actual transfer of funds.
And of course, after changes you've made to your tip moderation settings, you can apply this changes by reloading your overlays with the new settings directly from your tipping settings page.
