We’re excited to introduce the SE.Live Multistreaming tool in Open Beta! This powerful feature enables streamers to easily install the SE.Live OBS Studio plug-in and begin streaming to multiple platforms simultaneously, all with minimal effort.
Disclaimer! SE.Live Multi-Streaming is currently in its testing phase, and we're working hard behind the scenes to improve its features and functionalities. Our developers are constantly making improvements based on your feedback from the community. At the moment, multi-streaming to X isn't fully operational, but please know it's a top priority for us. What is Multi-Streaming?
- Multi-Streaming is an update to SE.Live that allows you to stream simultaneously to all platforms connected to your StreamElements account, including Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and any Custom RTMP destinations. It also allows you to create a vertical canvas for streaming on YouTube.
- Our tool is completely free, just like all of our other tools. It operates locally on your machine and does not require any external service connections.
- It is also optimized to ensure it runs efficiently, without placing excessive demands on your CPU or GPU.
Recommended Specs for Running SE.Live Multistreaming:
- Our developers have carefully optimized SE.Live Multistreaming to minimize demands on your CPU and GPU. For the best performance, we recommend using a system built from 2019 onward.
- When multistreaming, it's important to account for the combined bitrate of all platforms.
For example, if your main output bitrate is set to 6000, streaming to three platforms will require your system and internet connection to handle a total bitrate of 18,000 (6000 x 3). Ensure your setup can manage this load for smooth performance across all streams.
SE.Live Multistreaming lets you stream to a variety of platforms, including:
- Twitch
- YouTube (+ Shorts!)
- TikTok
- Kick
- X (Twitter)
- Trovo
-
Custom RTMP destinations
Note: There’s no limit to the number of platforms you can stream to—as long as your PC and internet connection can handle it!
How does SE.Live Multi-Streaming work?
-
Local streaming means your computer sends the stream directly to multiple platforms at the same time.
-
The more platforms you stream to, the more powerful your computer and faster your internet upload speed need to be. Each additional stream uses more system resources, so ensure your setup can handle it.
-
Your streaming performance may also depend on other programs running on your computer (e.g., games, VTube Studio). Make sure your system has enough resources to run everything smoothly.
FAQs
-
Q: Where are my TikTok chat and events?
A: TikTok hasn't indicated they'll provide the needed APIs for us to support TikTok in our Activity Feed and Multi-Chat. TikTok streamers can open the stand-alone TikTok Chat dock in SE.Live from the StreamElements menu. - Q: Why can’t I see the new canvas I created?
- A: Sometimes, OBS opens a new Panel/Dock behind other panels. Try selecting that canvas’ dock from the StreamElements top menu.
- Q: Why is there a TikTok output I can’t delete?
- A: We're adding TikTok streaming with easy login and a faster review process. A TikTok output is added by default to promote this feature — connect your account and try it out. The output is temporary, so it won’t stay there permanently!
- Q: How many platforms can I stream to simultaneously using Multi-Streaming
- A:You’re not limited to just two platforms at a time—you can stream to as many platforms as your PC and internet connection can handle.
